Victorian Sterling Silver Three Piece Tea Set
d6863: Hallmarked in Birmingham and Chester, 1898 by John M. Banks. This bachelor sized, Victorian, antique sterling silver tea set, comprises of a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, all in the classic Queen Anne style, featuring half fluting, gilt interiors to the sugar bowl and cream jug, and a wooden handle and finial on the teapot. The teapot measures 5 inches (12.5cm) tall, by 8.5 inches (21.5cm) from handle to spout, the cream jug measures 3 inches (7.5cm) tall, by 3.75 inches (9.5cm) from handle to lip, and the sugar bowl measures 3 inches (7.5cm) tall, by 5 inches (12.5cm) from handle to handle. The whole set weighs 12.62 troy ounces.
