d9590: Hallmarked in London, 1719 by Samuel Welder, this striking, antique Brittania standard sugar caster, is octagonal in shape, and very plain in style, featuring reed borders, and engraved decoration around the piercing in the lid. The sugar caster measures 7.5 inches (19cm) tall, by 2.75 inches (7cm) in diameter.
