d9663: Hallmarked in London, 1777 by Hester Bateman, this handsome, George III, antique silver sauce boat, features a scalloped border, flying scroll handle with acanthus detailing, three acanthus decorated hoof style feet, and an engraved crest. The sauce boat measures 4 inches (10cm) to the top of its handle, by 5.5 inches (14cm) from handle to lip, and weighs 4.05 troy ounces.
