Edwardian Sterling Silver Sauce Boat

d6479: Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1908, this very rare, jacketed silver sauce boat, features a removable tap so that hot water can be added, keeping the gravy hot (see image). The sauce boat features a flying scroll handle, and three acanthus decorated feet, and measures 5 inches (13cm) tall, by 7.75 inches (19.5cm) from handle to spout.
