More Information On Silver Cruet Sets
Silver Cruet sets comprise of the cruet stand, and a number of cruet bottles for serving liquid condiments, like oil, vinegar and soy. Additionally they may hold casters for spices and pepper, as well as a pot for mustard. One particular combination of components has found fame as the 'Warwick Cruet', named after the 1st Earl of Warwick who commissioned such a piece around 1715.
