d1455: Hallmarked in London, 1938 by Carringtons, this handsome, plain, sterling silver cake stand, measures 14.5 inches (37cm) tall, by 9.75 inches (25cm) wide, with the plates measuring 7.5 inches (19cm) in diameter. Each plate is decorated with an armorial, and reed borders (see additional images for details).
