e9602 - Victorian Silver Plate Tantalus: Made circa 1878, this fantastic antique silver plated gilt Tantalus case carries three cut glass bottles and opens by a lock and key at the side. Betjeman patented for 1878, the case features rope borders and a decorative floral motif around the base, sides and handle, measuring 13.5 inches (34.5 cms) in length by 6.25 inches (16 cms) in depth and 12.25 inches (31 cms) in height.
