j9204 - Georgian Sterling Silver Inkstand: Hallmarked in London in 1766 by John Langford II And John Sebille, this unusual Georgian antique sterling silver inkstand is rectangular in shape with a pierced gallery border and stands on four ball and claw feet. The inkstand has three cut glass bottles with silver tops and two other receptacles one with a glass insert and one which appears to have been for warming something in. The instand is 8" (20cm) long, 5" (13cm) deep, 2.75" (7cm) high and, without the glass, weighs 13.5 troy oz. | £2,495 |
