The cup & cover measures 12.5"(32cm) tall, by 9"(23cm) wide, by 5.5"(14cm) deep, and weighs 36.8 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1716 by Lewis Mettayer, this striking, George I, Antique Britannia Standard Silver Cup & Cover, features strap work to the body and lid, acanthus detailed handles and an engraved armorial to one side. The lid of the cup is unmarked. The cup & cover measures 10.75"(27.5cm) tall, by 10"(25.5cm) over the handles, by 6"(15cm) deep, and weighs 53.8 troy ounces.
