I Franks Antique Silver is a member dealer of the famous London Silver Vaults in Chancery Lane, London. The company was one of the first to establish showrooms there after the current location was developed in the 1940's. We are a full member of LAPADA (the London and Provincial Antiques Dealers Association).
The company, now entering its fourth generation, is still in the original family ownership and Eric, Jonathan and Daniel Franks now look after customers with expert advice and personal attention. Eric and his sons are concerned with all aspects of the business and the reputation and expertise of the family has been passed down the generations. Today, Jonathan’s computer programming skill, coupled with Daniel’s photography, has allowed the company to enter the virtual world of internet antique dealing, and they are now considered the largest and most thorough antique silver experts online.
I Franks can be found in the world famous London Silver Vaults, a unique location for buying and selling antique sterling silver, modern silver, and silver plate (see Contact Us page for directions). The photos on this site are by no means an exhaustive list of the total inventory, so please use the contact section and explain your requirements if you do not see what you want.

The history of the vaults dates back to 1882, when The Chancery Lane Safe Deposit Company opened for the purpose of safe-guarding private possessions and documents. Security was so good that, almost immediately, they became the favourite storage place of dealers and traders.
During the Second World War the building above the vaults was destroyed, and was replaced with the site now known, throughout the world, as The London Silver Vaults. Over 50 dealers in silverware & object-d'art trade from individual vaults within this location making it a wonderful site to visit and buy items ranging from 10 pounds to 1,000,000 pounds.
