 Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1810 by John Roberts, this Antique, George III, pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks are very plain with tapering columns set upon plain round reeded bases. The antique candlesticks are each 11 inches (28cm) high and the bases have a diameter of 5.25 inches (13cm). In common with most candlesticks of the period they are loaded for stability and the sconces remove to make cleaning easier.
