 Hallmarked in London, 1803 by William Aitken, this very handsome, George III, Antique, Sterling Silver Basket, features egg and dart borders around the rim and foot, acanthus and reed detailing around the handle, wonderful engraved borders, and an engraved coat of arms to the center. The basket measures 11 inches (28cm) tall with the handle up (5 inches (13cm) with the handle down), by 14 inches (35.5cm) wide, by 10 inches (25.5cm) deep, and weighs 26.3 troy ounces.
