 Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1876 by William & Henry Stratford, this Antique Victorian, Sterling Silver Pair of Sauce Boats are of a huge size each with a capacity of 0.5 litre. Each sauce boat is 8.25 inches (21cm) long, 4.5 inches (11.5cm) wide and 6 inches (15cm) tall to the top of the handle. Together they weigh 33 troy oz but it their capacity that makes them so unusual.

 Hallmarked in London, 1746 by Richard Kersill, this striking, George II, Antique, Sterling Silver Pair of Sauce Boats, feature rococo style chased decoration throughout, three mask feet, and acanthus detailed flying C scroll handles. Each sauce boat measures 4 inches (10cm) tall, by 7 inches (18cm) from handle so lip, and the pair together weigh 14 troy ounces.
